Executive Director Stephanie Grant, LCSW Stephanie joined the IPAS staff in April, 2009. Her personal and professional history helped groom her to take the IPAS lead. Stephanie earned her BA Degree in Deaf Education from Fresno State and has a passion for American Sign Language and has been involved with the Deaf community for many years. As a natural advocate she went on to earn her MSW at Fresno State as well. Stephanie came to IPAS from Tulare County Child Welfare Services where she worked in all aspects of foster care from emergency response to adoption as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She enjoys the IPAS strength based approach to adoption where the birth family is honored. In addition, she makes it a priority to meet with each adoptive couple as they begin their journey with IPAS. Social Work Practitioner II Stephanie joined the IPAS staff in October, 2008. She has her MSW from Fresno State and came to IPAS from Valley Teen Ranch where she facilitated the certification of foster care families for the placement of older children. Stephanie enjoys working with both the birth family and adoptive family in voluntary adoption. Her attention to detail and passion for her clients is evident in all she does. Licensed Social Worker Felicity Moreno, LCSW fmoreno@infantofprague.org Felicity joined our staff with over ten years of experience working in the field of adoption. She earned both her BSW and MSW from Fresno State and is a passionate life-long learner. She has worked in all aspects of Child Protective Services and has an in depth knowledge of the complexities inherent in the system and what that means for children and families. Felicity is excited to be working in voluntary adoption where the birth parent is included in the decision process. Social Work Practitioner II Ashley Phelan, MA aphelan@infantofprague.org Ashley joined the staff at IPAS with an extensive background in fost/adopt services. She is passionate about adoption and helping children and families connect. Ashley is involved in the Central Valley Christian Alliance for Orphans and frequently volunteers her time speaking for groups about the beautify of adoption. She holds a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Philadelphia Biblical University and is a former Area Director for Young Life. We are excited to have her on our IPAS team and know that our clients will benefit from her commitment to providing excellent service. Director of Communications Joanna joined the staff in February, 2007. She came to agency with a broad range of experience in public relations and development. Joanna effectively communicates the agency’s passion for adoption as a public speaker and presents at the agency’s monthly Info Night. She is a gifted writer and provides valuable information via our newsletter and monthly E-newsletter. She has also written articles regarding adoption for the Fresno Bee. Joanna is at the helm of our one annual fundraising event – A Toast for the Children. Her dedication and passion is evident in all she does. Infant of Prague is blessed to have a Director of Communications with such a powerful voice for adoption.
Office Manager Gloria joined the staff in July, 2007. She came to the agency with a strong foundation in customer service. It did not take long for her to become the friendly voice of the agency. Her love for people is evident from the first moment you have contact with her whether it is in person or on the phone. Her passion for adoption comes through in all she does whether it is assisting a staff member or helping a parent. Gloria is a valuable and dedicated part of the IPAS team. When you come to the agency you will quickly come to understand that if you have a question or concern, Gloria is your “go to” person. She will greet you with a warm smile and brighten up your day! Bookkeeper Mary joined the staff in June, 2010. Mary came to IPAS with a strong background in accounting and finance. As the former director at Helping Hands in Oakhurst she has a passion for supporting woman facing an unplanned pregnancy. The combination of Mary’s experience provides a wonderful foundation in her role as the IPAS bookkeeper. Her strong work ethic and her attention to detail are instrumental in maintaining the fiscal operation of the agency. Mary enjoys meeting with each adoptive couple as they begin the adoption journey and is committed to keeping open communication throughout the process. |
